The new Perth Police Complex is five stories high and contains basement car parking.
The layout of the new complex when completed will consist of the collocation of three separate functions of a Perth Police Centre, Watch-House and a Magistrates Court.
These have been design in such a way as to enable separate agencies to administer and operate each area.
The building has been design to allow a further two stories to be constructed over the top in the future.
It has many similarities to this project in that there are high pressure gas lines and numerous other services & buildings in close proximity to the new basement.
Prior to engagement of the main construction contract, BPA were responsible for documenting and administrating the redirection of a new sewer main, the in ground retention systems and bulk earthworks for the main building.
